The philosophy of our office is to treat situations before they become a problem. We embrace dental technology including laser dentistry, an intraoral camera, digital x-ray technology, and Isolite. These technologies help us discover oral disease at its earliest stages and help give our cosmetic dentistry patients the best possible experience. With this philosophy, we get better results with treatment and our patients’ experiences are much more pleasant.
Dental Laser
As part of our practice’s advanced dental technology offerings, we provide two types of laser dentistry:
Diagnodent | This is a diagnostic laser that helps us discover cavities at its earliest stages. As a result, we are able to remove less of your tooth when we treat tooth decay.
Waterlase | With this laser we are able to do fillings with no shot, and treat certain gum problems with no trauma or bleeding.
Isolite™
Isolating teeth during certain procedures is a must, but traditional methods are often uncomfortable. Isolite is a dental technology that helps us isolate in a comfortable manner for our patients, while giving us the proper environment to do the best possible job that we can for our patients.
Intraoral Camera
Our intraoral camera has become a staple in our practice. As the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” Often radiographs do not show changes in our teeth until it is too late. By using an intraoral camera, we are able evaluate changes in color, fractures, and other significant problems that do not show up on our radiographs. Also, our general dentistry patients love that they are able to actually see what the doctor sees and feels much more part of the process.
Digital X-Ray
The days of traditional “x-rays” are gone in our office. We invest in the best dental technology and employ state-of-the-art digital x-ray technology which is not only more effective, but significantly reduces the radiation needed for dental records. Our patients appreciate the ease and comfort of digital x-ray technology.
